Government’s key witness in the W.R. Grace criminal trial will not testify.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Andrew Schneider @ 06:54

The prosecution announced this morning that one of its most important witnesses, Chris Weis, will not be testifying in  the W.R. Grace criminal trial.   No reason was given and because of Judge Donald Molloy’s strangulation gag order, it may be a while before anything else is learned.

Throughout the trial, Grace repeatedly argued against Weis testifying.

Weis, an senior EPA toxicologist and emergency response expert, was one of the three main players in the Libby emergency response team He was expected to testify on a wide range of relevant topics that court watchers believe U.S. Attorney Kris McLean needed to prove his case.

For example, many of the topics on which Dr. Aubrey Miller was barred from discussing by the judge were to be addressed by Weis.

Grace weeps no tears at Weis’ exclusion.

  1. Isn’t getting to the TRUTH the only way to assess justice?

If anyone else is following this and believe, like I do, that this is phony-manipulated-in-name-only- justice — then start speaking up –
